Ft Benning is a 75 Million Solar facility. It has 134,000 solar panels and covers more than 240 acres. It will produce about 17 percent of the electricity needed to power Fort Benning. It took 269 workers and almost 260,000 man hours to construct the facility that rises out of the rolling terrain. This site has been transformed into a state-of-the-art solar facility that will deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy to our customers for years to come.
